I really love writing in short sentences, Sergio Ramos (and, by default, rooting for Real Madrid), and obsessively keeping my email count at 0. I'm also very clumsy, but I guess that's not really a hobby and just a curse.
one of the classes that i’m taking this quarter is called media/newswriting workshop or whatever.. the first assignment was to write a press release on myself. easy enough. well, the class is taught by a visiting faculty member, some guy from the union tribune, and in my press release i wrote that UCSD has a world-famous communication department. okay. then we got our first drafts back, and my professor wrote ‘is our communications dept. really world-famous? don’t use hyperbole’ (underline his own)
first of all, the major is just known under tritonlink as COMMUNICATION.. no ‘S’!!!!
second of all, it’s the supposedly the second best in the nation. ugh. i’m NOT exaggerating! get off my back!
